We once again have had sad news about one of our members. Larry Kamadulski (Larcat Racing) passed away after being involved in a car accident while in Daytona for the race. He had been going to the 500 for many years and also attended several other races every year. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Our 2023 year-end payout will be as follows:
1st - $100
2nd - $90
3rd - $80
4th - $70
5th - $60
6th - $50
7th - $40
8th - $30
9th - $20
10th - $10

Our 2022 season will be managed through www.nascarpoolsonline.com.
Here is a summary of some changes:
5 BONUS points for winning the pole
5 BONUS point for a stage win
10 BONUS points for winning the race
MOVE-UP points will be 1 point per position
Cutoff for submitting picks will be NOON (EASTERN) on qualifying day. On the nascarpoolsonline site, there is a tab called RACES and it lists every race date and qualifying date.
You will be able to enter picks for future races
If you have multiple teams, you will only need to create one user name and password to login. Then you can create multiple entry's (teams). All of the teams picks can be submitted/managed from the one login.
SURVIVOR picks will still be submitted through merclub.com
When there is a tie, the weekly money for those spots is added together and divided by the number of teams that tied. This week for example, 3rd, 4th and 5th place monies are added together ($20, $15 and $10) and then divided by the number of teams that tied, $45 divided by 3 = $15.00 per team
If you need to print additional driver's sheets, go to the Home link above and you'll find a page added where you can download either an excel file or a pdf file.
I have created a Facebook page for MERC, search for it under the full name Metro East Race Club. I've sent out some friend requests and invites for it but please feel free to share it with anyone. The more members that we can get to join it the better! Right now it is set up as a public group but that can be changed if the need arises.
